Landscape description and location

The business center is located in a very large, flat area, dominated to the north by the majestic and picturesque rocks getting down towards the valley, hiding in deep woods .

The business center is accessible from the main road with paved county road. The building is located next to a very old and recently renovated parish church, for scout campsites and settlements (Pieve di Carpegna).

The holiday farm is located midway between the villages of Frontino and Carpegna, famous tourist resort in the valley of the High Montefeltro and Pietrarubbia. The whole area brings the remains of the peasant culture of the past and also our holiday farm is promoting the ancient local traditions, from the architectural structure to gastronomy. Close by, there are various monasteries and churches (Montefiorentino monastery, the monastery of St. Jerome and the Church of Carpegna), dating back to the Middle Ages, of great interest to lovers of culture and history. There are various possibilities of tourist trails for nature lovers (Monte Carpegna, il Parco Naturale del Sasso Simone e Simoncello, il Cippo etc. ..) .

There are also, on the surrounding mountains, some ski lifts for winter sports (Monte Carpegna and Villagrande of Montecopiolo) . The location in Cà Marchino is a center of gravity compared to major centers of tourist and artistic importance (San Marino, San Leo, Urbino). Last but not least, the relative distance from the Adriatic coast, even for those who want to take advantage of its tourist attractions. The Montefeltro is home to many of the most evocative cities of art in Italia.

It’s a land, rich in history and tradition that evokes emotions and feelings of the past, smells of art and culture, hosting the venerable walls of ancient buildings, ancient churches and convents, dating from far away, but memorable eras, which symbolize splendor of the highest architectural and artistic depth. The farm guests who want to read up and learn more thoroughly the history and culture of these fascinating hilly lands, will not go very far, just a few kilometers, to be able to admire the beautiful Convento di Montefiorentino, La Pieve di Carpegna, la Rocca di S. Leo, remembering of the alchemist Cagliostro, the charming Castello di S. Marino, the " Renaissance Urbino " by Federico da Montefeltro, the romantic Gradara of Paolo and Francesca, to name just a few. Guests can also obtain information by browsing a dozen books on the local area, in the little library. Informations and details are available on our facebook page.
